I purchased a 7.5 foot Hillsboro pine Christmas tree from Michaels and this bag fits it perfectly. You have to disassemble the tree into 3 parts, but I didn't have to press hard on the branches. It's the perfect size for the length and I have a little more room at the top and bottom for the width. I thought for a long time what to buy, since there are many options. I'm so glad I went with this! The fabric is very durable, the seams are sewn well, the wheels work perfectly. There are even tree section straps if you need them (which would be handy for a 4-6 foot tall tree to keep it in place). The handles close with Velcro and there is a zipped pocket on the outside for instructions or small items like extra lightbulbs. I have some doubts that it will fit a 9ft tree but if you are anything under 8ft this is the best bag!
