The function of the UV is also highly dubious, and it also appears to have never served its purpose. Of the minor flaws, who cares - the water level is almost invisible. And there is no remote control, so if you want to change the mode at night, you have to get up. I'm not sure if it will humidify the air in a large room, but I have a small room that it handles. The humidifier humidifies the air, yes, it performs its function, it pleases the eye externally, but it's not worth the money. It is better to take it without any additional functions cheaper (although it was the additional functions that bribed me), or go broke and buy an air washer.
