Review on RISEPRO Thermocouple Thermometer Channel 🌡️ 200 for Measuring Temperatures up to 1372°C by Frank Tyrance

Inaccurate and conflicting readings

Don't worry, the accuracy is zero and will give completely different, conflicting readings every time. Using the probe and connecting it to different channels will cause the temperature reading to vary greatly each time. If you disconnect and reconnect the probe to the same channel while in contact with the same constant heat source, the temperature will also increase or decrease each time. There is no consistency or precision in it. You will never get accurate temperature readings that could be useful for anything. I was hoping to use the temperature sensors to simultaneously measure the hot object's surface temperature and the ambient air temperature so I could track the delta of the cooling. The inaccuracy of this device ensured that this would never be possible and any result would be meaningless. It's not a tool, it's a trick that can hardly work with it. It is advertised with an accuracy of +/-1°C at >100°C and an accuracy of +/-2°C at <100°C. It's closer to +/- 4°C or +/- 10°F, which is too much of a margin of error to be useful to anyone.

Pros
  • SWITCHABLE TEMPERATURE UNITS - Users can choose between °C/°F/K
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
