Very happy to have my Sun CP7515 timer working again!
My old Sun CP7515 from the 70s had a defective pickup and the time display didn't work anymore. Yes, I could have just bought an inferior plastic flashlight case for about the same price, but I was hooked on this tool. Soldered new wires to the board and it burst into life! It immediately reminded me of using it to time my '72 and '79 Olds Cutlasses and the '71 Kona Jet Boat. I will now use it to adjust the timing of my 2003 Mercruiser 3.0. I have successfully tested it with my lawn mower and my F150 12 volt battery. I am very happy that it worked!
