Yes, it's more expensive than regular cotton sheets, but it's worth it. Soft like velvet, doesn't absorb moisture like cotton. Prevents your child from lying in a very wet bed when they drool or spit up a little and reduces the chances of them getting a rash. My baby seems to like to sleep on it too. I had this material for my co-sleeping and loved it so was very happy to find it for my backpack and the games my baby currently sleeps in (with an upgraded mattress).
