I was pleasantly surprised at how well this product reduced steam and moisture in my bathroom (which does not have a fan). It connects and has very basic functions (one button to turn on/off). it is quiet and small. I've definitely noticed that the bathroom gets less humid after a shower, especially if I turn the thing on before showering. and leave for about an hour after that. significantly less moisture on mirrors and walls. It's worth it
