This may be moot at the moment as the product is not available or listed on the manufacturer's website but overall the hat holder works well and as advertised with one important caveat; a word of caution that most likely applies to all iPhone hat mounts. The weight of a large iPhone like my 6 plus is quite high so it would work better if it was attached to the rim of a baseball helmet! The weight pulls down a regular baseball cap pretty hard, and if the cap doesn't fit snugly, it can fall right off your head. My own intended use, which will include flight headphones, will probably stabilize the overall build satisfactorily; but if you plan on carrying nothing but a cap and phone on your head, I'd suggest going with one of the smaller iPhones, and definitely without a heavy case or leather (whatever you want to call it!). You must learn to significantly limit the movement of your head as the camera tracks your every move. This is undoubtedly an acquired skill and can be learned; Therefore, it is unlikely to be a deal breaker. One thing is for sure, the Go Pros and their imitators are much smaller and lighter than any iPhone you can dream of. But of course they take a few hundred bucks from your balance, and phones can actually record video just as well or better, so decide where the balance is based on that!
