Review on 🍡 Hiware 1000ml Glass Teapot: The Ultimate Stovetop Safe Tea Kettle with Removable Infuser, Perfect for Blooming and Loose Leaf Tea! by Albert Tucker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful, elegant and functional kettle. I absolutely LOVE it!

This is the most beautiful kettle I have ever owned. The filter is wonderful; The holes are so small that even the smallest tea leaves cannot fit through. I love that the filter basket can be removed and the lid replaced while the tea is brewing. The pan looks elegant with or without the filter. The collar, lid and filter basket fit perfectly into the pot, and the filter has a small metal handle that makes it easy to slide in and out. The nose is wonderful. She has a nice hole - not too narrow, not too wide, and pours a delicate stream without drips! (Tea SOUNDS nice even when poured from this spout. Like a musical one.) There is a small notch at the end of the spout that seems to prevent dripping. The size of the teapot is just right; You could probably get 4-5 medium cups of tea from a full pot. (Just a little more and it gets icy before you could drink it anyway. You could presumably heat this pot on a gas or electric stove, but I wouldn't risk it.) The handle is very comfortable. to hold while pouring, and gets warm but not hot. The only thing that bothers me about the teapot is that the glass is very thin and delicate. I'm afraid it will break very easily if I hit it on a faucet or other hard surface. The kettle's instruction manual advises caution when handling the kettle and recommends storing it in the original packaging (in a bubble bag that is placed inside the carton). I do, and I advise anyone else who buys this kettle to do the same. Luckily, the box isn't very big and won't take up much space in your closet. When I put the kettle on the kitchen table, I carefully cover it with a towel or wipe it with a rag so that it doesn't break. (If you have granite, marble, or cement countertops, this is a must.) I understand that all this special work may seem like a lot of work, but it really isn't a problem at all. I would buy this item again anytime, for myself or as a gift. Hell, I like it so much that I can take a spare or two with me if I ever break it. At just $17.99, it's a bargain!
