Review on πŸ“ Compatible 3.5” HDD Hard Drive to 5.25” Cage for Dell Precision T3600 T3610 T5600 T5610 T5810 T5820 T7810 T7820 Tower - 0WM1YT WM1YT Upgrade by Michael Bryan

The mounting screws are already in your Dell, they are attached to the back of the panel you are removing.

I didn't know this was available for my T3610. I put a 4TB hard drive in this bay next to a CD with a 3.5" universal adapter. It worked fine but my drives got to 40-45C. I put it in and plugged the fan into the connector and it fell off. 8s on drives, yes they are all even 3TB under. Now they all run much better at 35s than 39-44s. Watch this video to give you an idea of how to install it. I found it easiest to turn on the PC on the side and place the bracket on the outside near the top of the PC to access the fan connector and put the RAM chip cover back on. Doesn't include screws so I used my own. But after removing the front panel I see that Dell has already screwed the 4 required screws into the back of the front plastic panel that you are changing. So you already have screws, just hidden.

Pros
  • You will receive: 1x Fan Tray 1x Blue Hard Drive Tray 1x Bracket
