It covers all parts very well .Pencil charging works on top.You can also keep the pencil in a more secure place, aslo a standing position when in use.Keyboard works perfectly.No issue on battery. Have never had to charge it. It's been 3 weeks now. I use the keyboard on average actively 2 hours a day.Connects in 2 seconds. Does not slow you down whatsoeverTo make it stand, you need to unfold 2 flaps. This is the only thing you need to get used to. I am still getting used to it, and sometimes it feels that magnet is to strong, but it is a new habit you just need to get used to, why? For it's price.I have the original apple smart keyboard. Crap! lost 1 pencil and almost got a huge dent on the side of my ipad when if accidentally fell, my reflex put my foot between the fall. Phew.I used a Zagg Rugged and Logitec Duo on my previous ipad pro. Zagg was way to heavy. Logitec i used till it got busted cos it fell a couple of times. Taped it up, glued the corners, till they fell apart. But yes, Logitc was my champion.Taking off and putting back the keyboard is very easy actually. Not as easy as the Logitec, but also Logitec comes off way to much easily. Not cool.I was looking for the Combo functionality. Meaning, I wanted a keyboard that gave me the option of bringing along, or not bringing along the keyboard, also in whichever mode, the keyboard can still stand for just viewing.This is it!The great thing is, if I am bored, i don't feel guilty in chucking this out, not that I am going to.The ipad cover is what actually makes your ipad. It is your ipad. It is what you touch and what you feel. This one gives you it's own personality that makes you feel good. The original smart keyboard is designed to make you feel good about carrying around your Ipad for sure, cos people know how much it costs. But as a user, you are constantly damn scared that you will drop it or loose your pencil. Why bother. Bad design Apple!Go for this one!
