Review on Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS 12 MP CMOS Digital Camera With 4X Optical Zoom (Orange) by Yolanda Jones

Big Small Camera

Great camera. I had a Canon 6MP and wanted to upgrade to 12MP or higher and I wanted to stick with the Canon brand so I checked out what they have. This little camera just caught my eye. The first thing that struck me was the colour, but other than that it works great in low light as it says and you can choose to shoot fully automatically or switch to manual and either choose one of the preset shooting modes or just set it up your own options. It has a great 3 inch field of view and the controls are very similar to my old Canon so it was fairly easy to switch to these. Now I'm holding on to it more than my old one. It takes great pictures and I love that I can use large memory cards. The pen is the only thing they could do better. My old camera has a nice, flexible, soft grip with a retractable part where you can enlarge the grip opening. Or less. This new one has a stiffer vinyl grip with no hole adjustment. It seems a little cheaper to me, but the camera itself is amazing. If you need a camera that does everything for you, this is great for that. I am very satisfied with the quality and the quality of the pictures taken. Canon is a good brand. One note: no memory card is included, so I had to buy one separately. Battery and charger as well as software. As usual, Revain did a great job throughout the transaction. The camera arrived safe and sound in a reasonable time.
