I had a 6150RF in the master bedroom and a regular 6150 by the garage entrance. This was difficult to program because you are basically programming a blank screen and the beeps on the 6150 were annoyingly loud even though I tried covering the speaker with paper towels and duct tape. The 6160's that I bought are really easy to use and make the system easy to program because with alpa you can see what it's asking for. The chimes are also more soothing. The LED screen is bigger and easier to see. I also covered the speaker hole on the 6160 with a paper towel to make it a little quieter. I folded a piece of paper towel 4 layers thick. Pressed it around the hole to get an idea of the circle and used scissors to cut it to fit the hole and placed the speaker back on top. It's much better now, although it wasn't that bad to begin with. See my photo. It was a great upgrade at a good price. I highly recommend upgrading if you have a 6150. You will not regret it.
