. I tried the "Back" method to fix my HFT which is working now but draining your battery. Also, the HFT box is only for making/taking calls, it does not stream Bluetooth music to MDX. That's how I found about this BT45 ACU unit (there are different versions for American or Canadian MDX) that I found on YouTube. Installation video. It took about 30 minutes to install the device, install the microphone and get the device working in my car. You just have to make sure that the connections are correctly and securely engaged. Now I can stream music from my phone through my NAV box (it uses the XM1 channel) and also receive/call without worrying about battery drain (my HFT box is disabled even though it works).
