Review on Unleash High-Performance with AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT Processor & Wraith Spire Cooler by Abhey Tripathi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

It is put together with an RX 580, goodram irdmx 16GB memory overclocked to 3333MHz, and all of this is on a cheap motherboard called the gigabyte ab350m d3sh v2. 1700 points on Cinebench R15 and 3750 points on R20 + no need to sift through listings to locate the best memory with the best chips. Something universal for affordable 3D modeling and video games.

Pros
  • 1) A substantial L3 cache. He made it possible for Ryzen to finally be less RAM-reliant than earlier generations. 2) A noticeable improvement in performance per core even when compared to Ryzen 1-2 generations at the same frequency. Nowadays, 6 Zen2 cores perform better than 8 Zen gen 1 cores. 3) The processor's maximum out-of-the box frequency. 4) Although having a turbo core, this CPU fits into its thermal container, in contrast to a rival (an analogue of turbo boost from Intel).
Cons
  • 1) The absence of overclocking potential follows from the positive. For the majority of jewels with enough voltage, 4.2 GHz is the maximum speed across all cores. After this point, each 50 MHz is delivered with extreme difficulty and a significant voltage spike, resulting in a high TDP. 2) A lot of individuals lament the heat. Sadly, the heat sink problem is challenging. The CCD crystal, which houses all of the processor's computing units, cache, and other components (see photo), actually has a very small surface area (72 mm2) compared to the Core i7 8700's 151 mm2. In addition, the Ryzen CCD is situated in the upper left corner of the processor. Due to this, and to put it plainly, when the crystal is not in the core region, it is difficult to remove heat from such a small area. Thus, it is preferable to purchase a CO with a dissipated TDP that is double the claimed one (Gammax 300 will do just fine).
