Review on Intel E7500 Processor Socket LGA775 by Andrey Vasilev ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, I'm not sure it's worth the money.

This CPU's appeal has waned significantly during the past year and a half. The claim that "all games are not stupid" is false; a video card's processing power is far more crucial. However, even for HD5870 or GTX470, this CPU is embarrassingly underpowered. Moreover, 2 cores should not be overlooked. As of right now, you'll require a minimum of three. The $75 AMD Athlon 440 is faster than this stone without even being overclocked. I'm a little confused by the meaning of "extra" in this context. core ! Also, don't take this one for a spin; mobile phone processors will improve in a year.

Pros
  • The microprocessor has been discontinued.
Cons
  • Many of them exist. In terms of technology, we're still using the tried-and-true 45nm method. The G6950, for instance, can be merged with it in terms of ALL aspects, but at a cost of $1,000 to $1,500 more! All core2duo certified, therefore there's no use in buying new ones.
