my experience with the installation and limitations is the same as all the other thoughtful reviews. In addition, each review should repeat the following three points. 1. Regarding installation, the screw that secures the stem jack to the steering column is installed deep inside the stem jack. I would venture to say that no typical home mechanic has an allen wrench long enough and shaped enough to provide a "mechanical advantage" when tightening to get at the screw in the stock jack. You'll either have to buy one, or in my case "assemble" several screwdrivers and extensions to get to the pipe and tighten the screw. 3. Cables and their sheaths for shifters and brakes coming from the handlebars must have sufficient (extra) length to accommodate the higher position. To take full advantage of this unit's substantial height, you may need to replace one or more of these cables. If you're ready to take on those challenges, this crop lifter is perfect for you.
