I have a DeWalt planer and decided to try these off-brand knives to save a few bucks on maintenance costs. This turned out to be a bug and I'm going back to the OEM brand. No problem and all holes are perfectly matched. === Not so good stuff ===* The very first board I carved, a 5/4 piece of cedar, had a few visible little grooves. Thinking it might be rough burrs or maybe a foreign object stuck to the blades, I disassembled the plane and blew all the blades with compressed air. Repeating the planing for a few more cuts didn't remove the grooves from the wood. Reseating the blades the other way solved the problem, but I ended up getting only one set of blades for my money. Although there is some chipping now as the blades are starting to dull. I never did an exact study, but it seemed to me that the DeWalt blades had more mileage. even this benefit doesn't seem to last that long. Coming back to the more expensive option - it's cheaper.
