lasted 3 weeks. Requires significant cooling.

I was trying to use them to upgrade an old hidden wall panel. That does not work. Lasted 3 weeks all night every night. I used a 1/8" flat bar that was bolted to the aluminum body of the fixture. The flat bar peaked at 180f and the heat transfer to the mount was significant, but not enough in my opinion.
