Waist dimensions doesn't look right. 32 to 42? No way

It says "waist fitting 32 to 42?. well it isn't. im size 36 so if your waist is 36 and up DO NOT BUY IT. the belt does fit. but not the D rings. I had to take the pad off and use just the belt because the D rings were pinching my sides. I just gave it to my skinnier co worker.
