When I first received these lights I thought they were perfect, five stars. Easy to assemble and install, bright, weatherproof.But after only three months their brightness was less than half what it was when new. I believe the transformer is faulty and does not supply the proper voltage.For a brief time, perhaps two weeks, three lights regained their original brightness, but then began to dim once again and now they are as dim as a "birthday cake candle".I've tried using different electric outlets, extension cords, changing the positions of the four bulbs; nothing has helped.So my review is 1 Star. I'm sorely disappointed!I reached the merchandiser (Sunthin, at their website), and they eagerly responded. It was not a failure of the transformer, as I suspected. After ordering a new set, I isolated my problem to a single failed bulb (more likely the bulb head wiring); after removing the failed bulb from the string, I saw that the three remaining bulbs shone brightly; so I now have a new set with four working lights, and and the original set with three working lights.they are sending a replacement bulb. I'll update again after I receive the replacement. So far I'm very happy (finally). if they fulfill their commitment to send the replacement, I'll update my review to five-stars. this product (when it's working) is great for my needs.The merchandiser has sent me a replacement bulb-head, and now my lights are working properly again. I like the lights, they're 5-star (at this point) and I like the merchandiser customer service.it's also 5-star.
