I remember, one of the things that were always interesting to see, especially when you're playing with new people, is what kind of dice they had. Everyone has a different type of dice that they favor to play with, as well as the bag of shame - the dice we shall no longer use. I don't think these dice would ever go in that bag, they're too cool. The dice arrive in a resealable foil pouch with the pretty cool steampunk skull design on one side and a clear window on the other side so that you can see the actual product. Inside this bag is another small baggie that has the dice enclosed, with all of the dice contained in yet another small baggie. They've gone to some considerable effort to keep these clean and pretty until they come to your house. The dice are really made of metal. Real metal. They're not plastic or some other funky material painted to look like metal, these are indeed metal of some kind. They have a decent weight to them, and when thrown, they have a satisfying thump as they hit the table. The paint outlying the detail and showing the numbers clearly on each individual die is well applied and doesn't seem to have missed any spots. I like the design and the look of these dice. Now I just have to find a properly cool bag to keep them in and wait to be invited to play. If you like to play role-playing games that use multiple-sided dice, I think you will enjoy these, they're well-made and have a heavy satisfying feel to them, as well as look cool.
