I bought cable ties. These are definitely the best. They are: 1. Strong and durable body2. Have a carabiner - it won't let go of the hook if you trip over a bump. It also allows you to make the bracket less tight, which is better for hitting3. There is a loop on the strap - allows you to gently hold the steering wheel and not damage it4. There is a mini Velcro closure to keep the loose end from dangling in the wind. I bought some tie down straps from another seller to attach the wheel to the trailer. While I trust these straps, I don't want my bike trailing behind me.
