I'm not exactly sure how to put the gnat/mosquito/drosophila/whatever in it but if you look at the second photo of the small black area, there is , unfortunately, flying. To pull it out you just have to squeeze both ends together and it will come loose. I'm not sure how long or how often this will happen without it weakening or breaking. It looks nice at night but maybe it would be brighter. I wandered around blocking LED lights from my appliances like the clock on my stove. This works best around a window and they recommend going larger so some may want to use something like an extension cord and hang it somewhere else with the strips. With that I also had some clear tape on my window that caught a lot more fruit flies and flies just darting around looking at the moon or some other outside light. For 30€ I would choose something else if you don't like the look. at night. Not bright enough as a night light. If that were the case, maybe it would work better and get 4 stars.
