How to properly use BUMPER PLATES review

There are comments showing pictures of the bumper plate bending, followed with complaints. These people do not know how to use a bumper plate correctly. The bumper plate is NOT a stand alone weight? it is to be used as an insert! Here are the steps;1. Insert your desired weight first.2. Then insert bumper plate3. Add additional weight with bumper plates inbetween or just the one bumper on each side of bar4. Begin your routineThe BUMPER plate is meant to lessen to dull the sounds of plates clanging against each other and deaden the sound of you drop the bar with weights on it. The description states that the bumper plate is LONGER then normal plates. Why? because the rubber will hit first before the iron or steel hits a hard surface. Common sense should dictate that the bumper plate is very flexible and not meant to used alone. Imagine a car and in front of the car attached is a bumper. What does that bumper do? Now apply that to the weights . 🙄
