Spend a little more and get regular backlit headphones.

. The first burst at the lightning tip's connection with the chord, then the second just stopped connecting after the music hummed. If this actually gets approved by Apple I would be very surprised. I'm sure positive reviews are mostly paid for, like those cards that are discreetly placed in the packaging.
