Your best solution when it comes to glass lily hoses. Very clean and durable I only had to clean them once and it was scary not having the right tools to do it. Buy a cleaning kit for them. Those are pretty big pipes. If you have a tank under 29-30 gallons and get those things as low as possible above the edge of your tank you have to sacrifice depth of substrate/hard landscaping If you're trying to get rid of unsightly gear in your tank, buy it.
