In order for these headlights to work properly, here's what you need to do. I was about to return them and figured it out with a little guesswork and some help from various bulb brands. There are two ways to get them working with the application. Open the app. Start the smart lights, go through the "reset process" (or fast flashing as the instructions say) (reset mode). Put it in pairing mode (on-off-on-off-on) little thing Use AP mode and connect to Smartlife-XXXX, it will be called (it should request wifi connection and on the phone access it) WAIT for it to fill up the timer and it will connect (it took about 1:00 minutes for his clock to show up). Please note it was really annoying when the instructions in the booklet turned out to be very vague and didn't explain it. The only reason I found this out is because of another "manual". You may need to time it out in fast blink mode and then connect in AP mode. This is not specified in the supplied instructions. Hope that helps.
