Very glad I got this horn. It's loud enough to be heard by everyone inside or outside the vehicle. There is no volume control, but what's the difference. The alarm clock is a great bonus and well worth the money spent. I think the alarm is the first deterrent if someone is trying to steal your bike. It gives you more time to get to your bike before the thief has a chance to pick your lock or, in most cases, scare them away. The horn is made of solid steel and the button easily attaches to the handlebars. As the instructions were limited the horn itself was tricky to attach to the bike but I finally managed to figure it out. I placed mine in front of the bike just below the handlebars. The remote control for turning the alarm on and off is lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. All in all I am very happy to have made this purchase. But be careful, the horn is LOUD, I would say like a car horn.
