The color is wonderful and true to pictured item in listing, texture is very soft to the touch and the material is not too thick or thin. The final overall results of appearance, from front and both side views are nice and definitely a huge improvement to the underlying upholstery of the chair itself. However, the back is not attractive at all, this might be do to poor design or poor exacution of installation on my behalf. In my own defense, putting this four part cover on this small recliner was like fighting gym equipment on your first vist. I pulled, tucked, stretched, adjusted and attempted to tie as the instructions indicated, until I finally admitted defeat. The back of the recliner is in a corner so it is not of great concern but it might matter to someone else who would have the back of their furniture visible.I would like to thank all involved in the designing, making, marketing and sales of this product for helping to ensure that I do not undertake the hobbie of upholstery.
