It works exactly as described, I plugged it into the USB port on my 2012 Honda Fit and it plays music from your phone via bluetooth, no extra cables needed. There's a significant delay between the phone and the actual sound coming out of your speakers, so keep that in mind. In addition, unfortunately, the sound quality drops noticeably. It could be in-car Bluetooth or USB quality (I'll check with a USB stick to compare and update the review). The worst thing about the device is the noise when turning it on and plugging it in. Both sounds are played at maximum volume and are painful to hear. The real kicker is that Windows copies the connection sound (the sound of the connected device) and cuts it off, emitting a loud squeak. I have to start the car with the radio off to avoid damaging my ears and speakers. Not a deal breaker but a disappointment. If it weren't for these noises, everything would be fine.
