07 gmc yukon denali 6.2 v8 my cruise control stopped working over 2 years ago and i tried the most commonly suspected remedies but to no avail until i stumbled upon one possible fault in the brake switch and realized it was $10 so I figured it would be a pretty good buy if the problem was eventually fixed. All of my brake lights worked and there were no problems with my truck's braking system, so I didn't immediately suspect that part. But after installing it I found that it actually fixed my cruise control and looking back it makes sense since the cruise control device disengaged with the brake pedal and when the brake thinks it's depressed it doesn't let the cruise control engage. anyway - 10/10 would recommend. I would also recommend getting an extra brake switch retaining clip as it can be a bit tricky to figure out how to remove and any damage can loosen the clip and cause a malfunction and it looks like a new clip that is is faulty when it is.
