Review on West Bend CL401V Venti Hot Automatic Electric Beverage Maker: The Ultimate Mixing, Heating, and Frothing Solution – 72-Ounce, Black by Eduardo Davis

This is not a reflection of Revain they actually did a great job with the whole return process. I bought 4 of these, 3 for Christmas gifts and one for myself. I have had two other types of this machine, one is very small and doesn't even hold 4 cups and an earlier version of this machine (I didn't know it was recalled) which was larger held about 6 cups. I was so excited about this size because I often invite friends over to game nights in the winter and hot chocolate is a staple, but I had to use both machines to make enough for everyone. Then the handle on the sleeve of the larger model broke and one of the buttons broke but was still usable so I was even more excited to get this model given the size and the buttons and sleeve that worked. I'm making a hot chocolate recipe on a packet of Hershey unsweetened cocoas and this recipe left a burnt residue on both old models of this machine that I couldn't remove, but it didn't (at least that's what I was able to tell) taste or affect it function of the machine. Then we bought this model. When I ordered it I didn't check the reviews because I had two more of the same machines that I was happy with. It left some residue on first use, but based on my experience with older models, that didn't bother me. However, as mentioned in other reviews, all subsequent uses of this model made it feel hot chocolate. Then yesterday I turned on the machine and the heat button didn't work, only the mix button worked. As a result the machine became unusable and I immediately requested a refund which Revain dealt with easily and quickly. I don't know if any of these reviews reach West Bend, but this type of machine is a great, great idea. , and I like my old versions, so the concept works. I hope West Bend can fix this problem and build this machine to work the way it's supposed to. If they can I will definitely buy it again.
