I bought 2 of these because I live on an island with high humidity and we have mosquitos everywhere. The first night I received the devices, I started them both up in a small bedroom. All night my family and I were woken up by mosquitoes buzzing over our ears. The next morning my wife had 2 bites on her face and my son had 3 bites on his arms and legs. We had this device within 5 feet of where we roosted and it didn't kill a single mosquito. It is absolutely useless for an insect trap. I saw a mosquito fly right next to him as if it wasn't even there. He also claims there is a suction fan, but no fan or sucker. I placed a Kleenex napkin right next to the device to see if anything moved, but there was no movement at all. If you leave it running at night in the same room you sleep, everything in the room will glow slightly. bright. It's more of a black light than an insect repellent. I'll use it next time I have a party to make everything glow when my friends come over, but that's about all it's good for. Don't waste money.
