Good thick fabric, pleasant to the touch. I washed the cover upon receipt (I was so looking forward to using it) without checking how the cover would attach to the weighted blanket. Well, the drawstrings that attach to the duvet's loops are too short, and after washing the cover, the drawstrings are twisted and crumpled, making it even more difficult to pull them through the loop. I love the cover but the thought of washing the cover makes me cringe as it was difficult to tie knots. Now I'm wondering if it will be easy to solve them. If the strings were a denser fabric and a little longer, it would be easier. I keep telling myself there must be an easier way to attach the bedspread to a weighted comforter. I can't imagine that with the current design. I was exhausted putting the cover on and tying the strings to the "right" loops. Maybe if the loops and bindings are somehow matched. Color coded (may not match the rug showing the loops. However, there must be a better way as I ended up attaching the cords to the wrong loops, mainly because it is a weighted rug and difficult to manoeuvre.
