Review on OTC 4611 Battery Terminal Puller by Tom Lawson

This little gem was a real find. I was trying to replace a broken rear wiper (Lexus) but the wiper was frozen to the bolt from being there for ten years. Tried peeping, using solvents etc but to no avail and to no avail. And then this pretty well-made terminal stripper arrived via two-day Prime shipping. I have to admit I thought it was a waste of money. Even though I ordered it, I didn't really think it would work. But it was worth a try as it was a lot cheaper than going to a dealership. The pomace, which can be spread around the base of whatever you're pulling on, is a nice feature, and it glides over the base of the wiper with ease. And here is the moment of truth. I tightened the press on the screw and twisted it tightened until the pressure increased and. voila. It just showed up right away. Simply that way. Hey, maybe I've weakened it with all my other efforts, it's possible. But there's no doubt that broken wiper base was still frozen to the handle, or that this little beauty performed as advertised. And who knows, maybe one day I'll even be able to use it on a battery terminal. Either way, it was well worth the modest investment and a great addition to my workshop toolbox!
