When you receive this item it will come with simple assembly instructions but you don't even need to read them. It is great. But the problem with this tool is that it comes with (2) pieces of clear PE tubing that can be used for PVC pipe and that's the only real problem. The instructions say to cook these two small pieces to expand enough to slide over the larger PVC pipes. But since each piece is only an inch long + half an inch to two inches long. It is still very difficult or impossible to connect. Instead of pieces of polyethylene, I used silicone tubing that I had on hand. A whistle specially ordered for a different purpose so most people don't have that size or can't find the right size at Home Depot or Lowe's. Otherwise, the syringe pump is perfect on its own. Good luck with the cooking part!
