Pleasantly surprised!

I used a basic A-frame stand for my previous iPad. However, the iPad Pro 12" is too big and falls over. So I had to look for a new solution and this is the first thing I tried. I really appreciated the extra height this stand adds. It lifts the iPad up a bit, which is better in almost all circumstances. I also like that there is space underneath the iPad to slide the keyboard out of the way when not in use. The iPad jumps a bit when you press with your hand/fingers and also when you draw with the Apple Pencil. However, I believe that all of this is still usable. The hinges are strong and don't move on their own. This also means that they need to be folded with little effort. This is perfectly acceptable to me and I prefer that they are sturdy so the stand doesn't move while in use. I've also put my iPhone 11 Max on this stand in both landscape and portrait modes and it works great. The stand is bigger than a phone needs, but it still works. The slot, thanks to which you can charge the device even in portrait mode, is excellent, it works well. I use it on my desk next to my work computer in the kitchen. Countertop for cooking and also on a small table when I sit down to write. It works great in all of these scenarios, better than my old stand for my old iPad. One last note: it doesn't work entirely. For travel, it definitely takes up space when folded. That said, it's not bad, and I imagine that level of strength in a smaller fold will likely cost a bit more. All in all it was a pleasant surprise and worth the price.
