I have narrow feet and my ankles are just over 7.5 inches. Since I'm a very sensitive person, I don't like tight clothes. I am sharing this personal information because you may want to measure your ankles before purchasing these socks. I wish someone would because you never know why some people complain about tightness and others are happy with the product the way it is. The socks look lovely and I was so happy to open the package and put them on. I wear size 8.5-9 shoes and these socks fit perfectly. However, the ankles are unbearably tight for me. After a few minutes it seemed to me that they cut off the blood circulation. Very disappointed that I had to send them back. The quality seems very good and they feel soft and comfortable. Can't tell if they keep that cozy comfort because I was itching to take them off and open my poor ankles. I hope this review helps some to make the right choice. If the design improves I would try again.
