Very squeaky sound and poor construction

Telephone cord very noisy and squeaky; lots of noise on the line coming and going making conversation almost impossible. The cable isn't interchangeable either; It's a straight cord that connects to the handset on the wall. It's a cheap, weird setup.

Doesn't dial out in either TT or DP mode. Otherwise, it works. Can get calls.
