Good cheap phone. on mobile phones and accessories

Was cheap and does what I need. A corded phone as a backup is a good idea for everyone. If the power goes out, you still have a phone to use.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • So far so good

Old School POTS - Apocalypse Phone

Omaha had a 7 day power outage - cell phones didn't work and my landline was connected to fancy electronic office phones - USELESS! - If I had it, I'd be fine. The phone company does not need the utility. Fabulous!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good Corded Phone: Phones and Accessories

This is a basic, lightweight corded phone. It has 3 adjustable volume controls and a loud ringtone. Works well. The only thing I don't like is that the phone and the phone cords are in the same cord and they are short so I can't change the long phone cord.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad

Very squeaky sound and poor construction

Telephone cord very noisy and squeaky; lots of noise on the line coming and going making conversation almost impossible. The cable isn't interchangeable either; It's a straight cord that connects to the handset on the wall. It's a cheap, weird setup.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Compatibility

The telephone does not have a socket for a telephone plug.

I bought this phone instead of the elevator phone. The elevator has a cord to connect to the phone, but this phone has no outlet. The power cord is hardwired to the phone because it's cheaper to manufacture. I have decided to return it but the shipping label is too big to print on one piece of paper and there is a 15% restocking fee. There's a reason they don't show the back of the phone on the website.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

cheap replacement for my dead duck

Yes the duck is dead - my favorite phone was like a duck in size, shape and color but instead of ringing it quacked! (Landline.) I wanted an inexpensive replacement and this works great, but the downsides are that the cord is short and can't be replaced; appears to be permanently attached, unlike most desk phones with detachable cords; and the bell isn't very loud so I can't hear it from afar or from outside. But I don't use my phone very often and really didn't want to spend a lot, so this…

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • update available

good phone on landline phones

I actually got this phone because I wanted free shipping and a new phone somehow. The old phone we had was a large wired phone. I'd like to keep them with me in case the power goes out. Either way, this phone is small, light, and easy to set up. All cables are included with the phone. All you really have to do is take it out of the box and unwind the cord from the side of the phone line if you like. Then just plug it in. Very easy to set up. The volume control is on the side. The reason I give…

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
