So far so good. I've been using it for less than a month, I'll unsubscribe as things go. I have a 5 month old Labrador/Border Collie/Escape Master. This gate is the perfect height and I really don't think she'll be able to jump when she's older. She also tried to hit him with her body for about 20 minutes and he survived. As for the setup...I'm 31.5'3", 135 pounds and I put it together myself. I'll say it takes effort. But it really isn't that bad. I've read some reviews about it that the door doesn't go all the way to close....just keep following the instructions.They also fixed an issue with a wobbly part at the bottom of the gate.(In the photo).In terms of looks,durability and fit,this was exactly what I was looking for for my pup.
