Have been using it for over a year with no problems but I bought new hardware which required me to use it for its intended purpose - customize. Once the screws are removed the male end comes out easily because you can grab the bolt handle to gently pull/wiggle it. However, I had to move the pin end, and since the XLR pin ends are recessed, you'll need to use needle nose pliers to pry it out. I tried to pull it gently, but it didn't move until it was ripped out and self-destructed. All three wires are pulled out of their solder joints and I don't know how to fix that due to the tight fit and short wires. I wouldn't write this review if I could find a way to contact the seller directly, but there doesn't seem to be a way. I will update if they get in touch.
