They're a bit flimsy and can accidentally bend around the edges if you don't during installation are careful . Installation isn't difficult, but it can be a little difficult to fit the spring-loaded arms into the outer body of the light with big hands. It's not easy to see or get the required workspace. Sometimes the spring arms themselves can also detach/detach from the mount. You can get away with it without much experience. I've installed over 100 of them and may have only had issues with less than 5 and probably only once have I been unable to continue using them. They are also easy to color. I painted a few to match the color of the ceiling and was very pleased. This is a very good DIY project.
