So full disclosure. I'm generally a fan of Polarpro filters. I have VND filters for all my lenses. When it came out I was very excited about the concept of having more control over the light coming into my iPhone. And to be fair, it didn't disappoint. I just assumed that I shouldn't have such a solution. When the iPhone 12 came out and I decided to upgrade, I figured there might be a new case for the iPhone 12 and I could adopt that expensive VND filter. to my new camera. When the new housing came out they changed the mount which made my filter useless off camera. I can't sell it because anyone looking for a superior camera experience is drawn to the iPhone 12. It was a very expensive filter with a lifespan of less than 1 year. I thought about buying a new one but I don't think they won't do it again. I don't want to pay a premium price for a disposable item.
