Very dissatisfied with these new headphones. I used the 2016 BackBeat Fits for years before finally losing them in a move. running, playing sports, occasional listening; The 2016 version covered everything and seemed to last as long as I needed. However, these updated earbuds barely last more than 45 minutes on a charge. They connect well in the Backbeat Companion app for a little extra touch control functionality, but it's hardly an exciting feature when these headphones die during a workout. Charging for the recommended 2 hours resulted in about 30 minutes of uninterrupted audio playback, the last 5 minutes of which were constant cuts as the headset told me it was dying. Overnight charging resulted in an extra 15 minutes of life, but that pales in comparison to the advertised 7 hours. Call quality sounds terrible, but media playback is pretty decent if you don't mind higher bass cutoff. I'm not sure if there is anything wrong with these buds, but they are completely unsatisfactory as a product. Update: The replacement has the same problem. The return of both pairs as errors is clearly version related and not just a coincidence. Absolutely unsatisfactory.
