I like the fact that it comes with two sets of cords so it can be plugged into your vehicle's electrical system or plugged into the power outlet for portability. I have owned these units for many years. I leave them permanently installed in work cars, but like to keep them in a laptop case for use in personal cars. This one works great as you would expect. Enough power for my laptop or tablet. It seems to be a replacement for an old device I always carried with me. The USB port is handy, although to be honest I use car adapters to charge my portable devices. But in an older car with limited outlets, an extra USB port should come in handy if you only use one. So far so good, highly recommended.
