Well if you are reading this you know what the price is Lloooowwww. I have a new definition of cheap: the manufacturer doesn't care about serial numbers. Mine doesn't have that. I'm not sure what this means about warranty coverage. The website listed in the product documentation was not found by my browser (tried two days in a row). Just searching for the manufacturer's name raised many red flags from my antivirus software. The device I received spins and you can hear speed changes (settings 1-6). Annoyingly, the rectangular dust container does not come with a round hose adapter (for the dust container); I can live with it. I'll grind a board to death and let you guys know how it works! Update 091321: Add a star (4): After about 3 hours of use I love this little one. Compared to my straight grinder, it is quite quiet. The revolutions of the tool are above the media limit (3M), so the speed control is convenient. It collects a lot of dust in the bag, but also flies away a lot (sands a lot of 1x3s, so nothing to complain about; dust is much better trapped when sanding large flat surfaces). I still see great value in connecting it to my dust collector. Update 100521: I'm updating this to 5 stars. I found a "universal" Bosch adapter, snapped off the tabs (they seem to break easily), and it fits OVER the outlet of the grinder. I used tape (I'm traditional!) then put a zip tie over the whole thing and tightened after 24 hours of standing. As far as I can tell, it's anchored really well. beauty, right?! https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009H5L5I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
