I have worn Chaco sandals for many years. I like the durability and stability but they have always found them heavier and with a little more arch support than I would have liked. I really like how they fit and how light they are. Unfortunately the sole doesn't hold up well. I've only worn them on a few short hikes and around town. Both soles are torn (see photo) and small pieces of the sole are everywhere. As if the sole were too fragile. I'm not sure if I should keep them or try to send them back to the Chaco. No other review mentions this issue, so maybe I just got a bad pair?
