In general, I purchased this adapter for use with goupro8, but it forced me to do the build quality of the advertised media module with a built-in microphone for this camera. I had to roll back a bit and purchase this adapter, which I do not regret at all. Its pros: Looks pretty reliable, thick wire, strong connector. It can be used as an adapter for an external microphone, and for charging the camera. Cons below: For ease of use, it is better to purchase together with a frame holder. However, this is not even a drawback, because the connected external microphone often still needs to be somehow hooked to the gopro.
