Great concept and easy to install but at least 50% of the time it just doesn't do anything. Just this morning it turned itself off and I see the dog ran into the driveway and his owner took him away. Later, on the way back, it will activate when the same thing happens. Then my wife walks away, in the car and no sound. Every time I have left the property since the installation I have asked my wife to listen to her and most of the time she has let me know she has done nothing. Physical health issues prevented me from installing it straight away and that return window has now expired (by 4 days). I don't have 80 dollars and that's life. If you decide to buy it, install it properly and return it immediately if it doesn't work at all. Update: Not a good upgrade as my neighbor bought one with two sensors. I almost went insane when I found out one of his was tuned to the same channel as mine. I switched mine to a different channel than he was using. This allows me to hear when the deer are at the feeding station or when someone walks or walks through the driveway. As I write I am waiting for a reply from him to see if he has bought another one as mine keeps shutting down and there is no one or anything near my sensor. There must be a better way.
